Thanksgiving Painting for kids

Join us for a fun Thanksgiving class! During this 1-hour class, participants of all ages will receive age appropriate materials to create a Thanksgiving themed painting. Participants may elect to create their painting with Thanksgiving/fall themed materials as a process art project, or to create a guided painting on canvas with the the teacher.

Wear clothing suitable for tempera (small children) or acrylic paint.

Holiday Glass Painting

Join us for a fun and festive wine glass painting class! During this 90-minute class, adults will choose a wine glass, jar, or vase provided and enjoy open guided painting time with acrylic enamel paints. Participants can follow along with the holiday theme or paint their own vision. All materials will be provided.

Spring 2024 Homeschool Art Registration

Registration for Homeschool Art classes is open from November 1, 2023-January 1, 2024. All Homeschool Art classes will take place at Gather Kids Place Community Center (4358 Midmost Dr. Mobile, AL). Students enroll for the whole semester, and you have the option to pay per semester or monthly.

Our homeschool art classes are geared toward learning and practicing fine art fundamentals while allowing students to pursue their unique areas of interest at their own skill level.

Classes must have 4 students enrolled in order to hold the class. Class maximums and class dates are posted in each individual class description.

Fall Themed Kids Art Classes

Kids' Art Classes will be held at Gather Community Center (4358 Midmost Drive Suite A Mobile, AL) in our "Maker Room" up front and will be taught by local mom and Studio Pure artist, Ms. Elsa! We will welcome the coming of fall with three kids' events during September:

Thursday, Sep. 7 @ 4:30-5:30 p.m.: Paint Pouring
In this one hour class children ages 8+ will explore fluid art through acrylic paint pouring! Parents may also participate along with their child. Cost: $25 per participant.

Friday, September 15 @ 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m: Preschool Art - Fall Mixed Media
In this 45 minute class, children ages 2-5 will create mixed media art with a fall theme. Cost: $15 per child.

Thursday, September 21 @ 4:30-5:30 p.m.: Painting Fall
In this one hour class, children ages 4+ will create a fall themed painting using Tempera paint. Cost: $15 per child.

**Please complete the registration form and send payment three days prior to your chosen class start date in order to reserve your seat.***

**Open play is paid separately, and is not included in the price of the class. Open play charges should be paid directly to Gather Kids Place**

*Must have a minimum of 4 participants to hold class. Maximum class size 14 people. (Paint pouring max 10)
