Homeschool Art: Portraiture II Fall 2024
During these 1-hour classes, children ages 11-17 will continue learning acrylic portraiture in Elsa’s style. Students must have completed Portraiture in Spring 2024 or have a working knowledge of human facial proportions, basic drawing, basic color theory, value and acrylic painting. We will build on these tools and techniques as we move into in-depth portraiture practice, including live painting sessions. Each lesson will build upon previous lessons.
Supplies are provided during class time. Students are encouraged to purchase their own supplies for use at home.
Acrylic Painting classes will be held at Gather Kids Place Community Center (4358 Midmost Dr. Mobile, AL) three times per month on Fridays from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Students enroll for the whole semester and you may elect to pay for the whole semester up front or monthly. The cost for the entire semester is $300, which breaks down to $60 per month.

Must have a minimum of 4 enrollees to hold class. Maximum of 6 enrollees.
Homeschooling group classes may be canceled the first week of class for a full refund. Cancellations for students paying per semester made after the first week of the semester will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations for students paying monthly after the first week of the month will receive a 50% refund for the remainder of the month if cancelled before 48 hours of the next class during that month. Refunds will not be given for individual missed classes during a given month or semester.
